Dr Weber has more than 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with focus on Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). He started his career with McKinsey & Company where he served clients from various industries. His initial contact with the healthcare industry was as Head of Finance, Business Development and M&A for the pharmaceutical group Madaus where he restructured the group's portfolio of subsidiaries. He joined Mayne Pharma as VP Corporate Development in 2004 to execute on its aggressive external growth plans for Europe, and following its acquisition by Hospira he continued to hold the same position. In May 2009 Dr Weber joined Mucos Pharma where he is now serving as CEO and orchestrating the international expansions of its key product Wobenzym as a food supplement. He also supports the European expansion strategy for Mucos' parent company Atrium Innovations.
