22 October 2007: Dr Christian Weber, VP Business Development, Hospira, is Appointed to CM&D Advisory Board Chertsey, 22nd October 2007.  CM&D Pharma Limited, the European niche specialty company, today announced the appointment of Dr Christian Weber, VP Business Development, Hospira Inc, to its Advisory Board. Danilo Casadei Massari, Corporate Development Director of CM&D said: 'Dr Weber has more than ten years' experience in Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy and M&A.  He is the ideal first appointment to our new Advisory Board, and we look forward to other senior pharmaceutical executives joining him shortly.' Dr Weber started his career at McKinsey & Company where he served clients from various industries in numerous transaction projects.  His focus on the pharmaceutical industry emerged during his role as Head of Finance, Business Development and M&A for the German pharmaceutical group Madaus.  Moving on he joined Mayne Pharma as VP Strategic Corporate Development in 2004 to execute Mayne's aggressive external growth plans for Europe, achieving four strategic bolt-on acquisitions in 2005.  Following the acquisition of Mayne Pharma in early 2007, Dr Weber now heads Hospira's European BD team, having added Medical Technology and Devices to the scope of his development work.
