16 January 2008: CM&D Pharma Appoints Dr Marco Prosdocimi to Scientific Board Chertsey, 16th January 2008. CM&D Pharma Limited, the European niche specialty company, today announced the appointment of the senior pharmacologist Dr Marco Prosdocimi to its Scientific Board. For twelve years Dr Prosdocimi has acted as consultant to a number of large and small pharmaceutical companies and research organisations. Prior to this he rose to Research and Development Director at Fidia Research Laboratories during a 15-year career with the company. Marco was a Research Associate at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, USA, following a period as a Research Fellow at the University of Padova in the Department of Pharmacology. Dr Prosdocimi gained his Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy at the University of Padova. As well as being an active member of several scientific societies, he has authored more than 200 published papers and several patents, particularly in the field of cardiovascular and autonomic pharmacology.
