16 January 2008: Dr Cosimo Pulli, General Manager of Chiesi Pharma Italy, is Appointed to CM&D Pharma’s Advisory Board Chertsey, 16th January, 2008. CM&D Pharma Limited, the European niche specialty company, today announced the appointment of Dr Cosimo Pulli, General Manager, Pharma Division Italy, Chiesi Farmaceutici to its Advisory Board. Stephen Appelbee, CEO of CM&D said: ‘We are putting together a powerful Advisory Board, which will be of great strategic importance during this important growth phase. Dr Pulli has clearly demonstrated his commercial strength at one of the most successful pharma companies in Europe.’ Having received his doctoral degree from the University of Rome, Dr Pulli started working at Glaxo, where during a 15-year career he rose to become Sales Director, Italy. He then moved to Chiesi, where over the last 10 years he has driven the company to substantial sales growth. Dr Pulli has a strong track record of in- and out-licensing, and experience in all commercial and marketing areas from hospital to orphan drugs. He is a Board Member of Farmindustria, the Italian pharmaceutical companies’ association. Dr Pulli is also CEO of Promedica srl, and recently became President of a newly-established OTC sales organisation, Novadynamics srl.
