16 January 2008: CM&D Pharma Appoints Dr Paolo Rampazzo to Scientific Board Chertsey, 16th January, 2008. CM&D Pharma Limited, the European niche specialty company, today announced the appointment of development chemist Dr Paolo Rampazzo to its Scientific Board. Dr Rampazzo is an organic chemist, who has expanded into a wide range of operational responsibilities over thirty years in the pharmaceutical industry. In two spells at Zambon Chimica he rose to become Head of Quality Control. Later, Paolo joined Fidia Advanced Polymers, where, as Technical Director and Qualified Person, he drove over 30 Medical Devices through CE marking, several products through regulatory approval in the US, and achieved and maintained high ISO standards for the company. At Madaus Dr Rampazzo was Head of Development, and added manufacturing and new product development to his areas of expertise. Paolo received his Doctoral Degree from the University of Padova, where he taught for a time as Associate Professor in Organic Chemistry.
