Until recently, Dr Werner was the Managing Director of GSK Germany, whom he served for over 10 years following a successful career at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has also served on several Boards of multinational pharmaceutical companies, lobbying groups and research foundations. Through the development of an extensive life science network Thomas continues to be a well-recognised and central figure in the pharmaceutical community both in Europe and the USA.
